Army Officer Selection Board

At both assessments there is a common standard that is to be met. How the board assesses you is designed to be independent and comprehensive, to ensure this you are assessed by multiple board members throughout your time at AOSB.

The standard required does not change, there is no secret quota or s-curve. If all candidates at board meet the standard they will all pass. To this end you are not competing against your fellow syndicate members but rather demonstrating to the board that you have the potential to be an officer. It is important to keep in mind that they are not looking for the finished product but individuals with leadership potential.
